Column construction: what reinforcement is recommended?

Let's keep in mind that the construction of columns is one of the most important processes when building a house, that's why here I will give you useful tips to improve the reinforcement of these.

Tips to keep in mind for the construction of columns The confinement columns have to be built as specified in the structural drawings, the column section measurements, as well as the concrete resistance must be respected. The columns must be perfectly connected to the load-bearing walls by means of the indentation. They must be vertically aligned: if the construction is of two floors or more, the vertical axis of each of the columns on the first floor must coincide with the axis of the columns on the upper floors. The column should not have any piping inside it, be it drainage, electrical or water pipes, as this will weaken over time, thus losing strength. Corroded iron should never be used, as it loses weight and section. Before the concrete is poured, the anchors for the metal doors must be put in place to prevent the column from being chipped later.
