Painting a room represents a challenge if we decide to get down to work, and it is a job that involves much more than just opening a can of paint. Few things are as satisfying as accomplishing something on our own. From cooking a meal to tidying up the house.
Usually we can find small marks produced by the impact against the wall of chairs or tables. These are the most common imperfections that disfigure the walls of a house. Fortunately, this problem is easily solved.
For this type of situation, Sherwin-Williams recommends the use of SW Endued Plastic Interior, which with its new formulation allows for easy sanding and smoothing of interior surfaces for an excellent finish for much longer.
This product is applied with a spatula or metal trowel in its original consistency or diluted with a minimum amount of water to facilitate the work. The application should be done in thin layers, allowing the product to dry between successive coats. Then we must proceed to sanding to remove the excess of the product and to achieve that the wall reaches an even surface to the touch. Remember that before and after the application of the endued, it is always convenient to seal or fix the surface.
Once an even and smooth surface is achieved, we can proceed to paint with the type of paint and the tone we have chosen.
General recommendations
- Check the product very well before use.
- Store the containers in a fresh and dry place.
- Avoid painting under direct sunlight, since the adhesion is damaged by the excessive speed of evaporation of water - Avoid painting with RH (relative humidity) above 85% or when rain is expected.
- Keep out of reach of children.
